As a leading iPaaS integration provider, Jitterbit wanted to provide users with a single, unified cloud platform to create, run, secure, manage and analyze microservices and APIs. While some of this functionality existed on Jitterbit’s legacy products, the experience was incomplete and disconnected from Jitterbit’s new Cloud Studio integration platform.

Working alongside Jitterbit’s product management and support teams we concepted a complete API lifecycle management platform – with more intuitive flows for creating and publishing APIs, new ways for clients to document and share their APIs with Swagger 2.0, and a single, central analytics hub to monitor API performance and usage. Through multiple rounds of prototyping and testing, we developed an API platform that clarifies and simplifies API management and usage for Jitterbit clients, their developers, and customers.
The new API Manager allows users to quickly design, deploy, and manage real-time APIs for any cloud, on-premise or mobile application with an intuitive, straightforward interface that seamlessly integrates with other services in Jitterbit’s Harmony Platform. Through development and launch, altr has continued to support the Jitterbit team to help optimize the API Manager experience.
I would treat altr as any other member of your team – let them embed and work directly with your customers, developers, and product/project managers. Don’t be afraid to give them the tough material and trust them to understand.
